So here are a few of the samples which I made at this weekend’s demo…these are all made using the new Flower folding packs, Far and Away Asia papers and the Ribbon Lace which is awesome. TFL!
So, the clocks have gone forward and let’s hope we’re in for some sunshine now!
This is the latest BBTB challenge – we had to use the Tall Ball cut on Plantin Schoolbook and I decided to make this cute candle holder. If you’re worried about it catching fire use one of those battery operated tealights.
Made using Cricut – you can make this with either the PS cart or GBS – this is the project we made at our swarms last weekend…
Isn’t it just typical – Easter Friday and we open the shop a bit later than usual so we can have a lie-in and here I am up at the crack of dawn wide awake! Isn’t it always the case..although it is partly due to the cat poking his claws into my arm as my daily alarm clock, bless him.
So, some of you may have noticed I now have a crafty blog button (hey, I put that there, hope you’re really impressed!!) and at the time of writing I’m 520 on the list – so please give the button a click and help me get at least a bit further up the rankings, 520 is a bit embarassing!
Good Friday today and mine will be spent tryi9ng to get ahead on some new class projects and some new ideas for workshops, plus I’m trying to organise our Crazy Craft Day, I need to get my products ordered. So I’d like to say I’m spending the day eating eggs but sadly I won’t be, although I did hide a packet of mini creme eggs in the office yesterday where Kriss wouldn’t see them so I might be able to sneak a few while he’s in the shop! mmmm…I have a demo day tomorrow so I’m going to be busy prepping up for that too, so all in all a busy weekend, then it’s back to normal on Monday too. So TTFN, hope you all have a lovely Easter, don’t eat too much chocolate and Hot Cross Buns!x
For those of you who love your ATC’s, I hope you will visit my good friend Chriss Rollins’ blog ATC’s and Me. Chriss started this great site because of her own addiction and it’s now really popular with the legendary Tim Holtz even leaving his comments – what an accolade!! Wish he’d leave one on here for me! Anyway, I decided to donate one of my ATC collections below to Chrissy and she’s started a competiton with 3 of the ATC’s as blog candy so get yourselves over there if you’d like to win them!
“Oh, just cant wait to add 3 of these to my ATC blog, as ‘Candy’ for some very lucky person to win. You dont have to make anything to be the lucky winner to receive them just answer 1 question. They will be going up on offer on Sunday the 23rd of March – you are invited to come along and try your luck!”
So come on everyone – you can win 3 of the ATC set which are posted below (Love, Cherish, Believe, Create, Travel, Dream) so get on over to http://chriss-rollins.blogspot.com now!
For our last crop we had to create our “Last…” so mine was my last gig I went to which was The Holloways, who I absolutely love (partly because they live about a mile away from where I lived in London and it reminds me of sitting in 7 Sisters Rd Pizza Hut every Monday after boring training college. I always used to have ice-cream sundae for pud with extra nuts (love nuts!) and the waitresses used to secretly slip me bags of those gorgeous sugary chopped nuts to go home with when the manager wasn’t looking! yum yum!
Chrissy Rollins asked me to join her ATC challenge for Feb 08 which was “Poetry”. This was actually the first real ATC’s I’d ever done, not because I don’t like them but just because I’ve never quite got round to it! Now I’m quite addicted I think! These were created with Basic Grey Pheobe paper, Rubbadubbadoo stick n stamps which I’ve had for years and Stazon & Tim Holtz distress inks, lots of doodling & little bits n pieces. Hope u like them!
This is a set of ATC’s which I created for a class – the theme was that the set of 6 had to have one common element running through themes of Love, Cherish, Believe, Travel, Create & Dream. I used 1 common stamp throughout and loads of ink! I really love this set and I’ve decided to donate it to my fave ATC blogger Chrissy Rollins who will put them to really good use as blog candy challenges! check out Chrissy’s blog here: http://chriss-rollins.blogspot.com
Well, I have been neglecting my li’l ol’ blog so i thought I’d better catch up – I just never seem to have any time to myself these days and it’s my own crafting that’s suffering I think! So this is just a very short post but I’m uploading all my latest projects which we’ve done either in class or for workshops and stuff since January. And Easter is almost upon us but where is the lovely spring weather? Instead this week is forecast to be horrid with gales and wind but yippeeeee, hopefully some snow! Fingers crossed! Anyway, here are the pics, enjoy!
